After a few practice runs when Shane and Cassandra make short trips, I'm spending my first full day hanging out in the basement today. I really like it down here so far. The carpet is extra soft and I have enough room to play around a little bit or do some walking / stretching. Fortunately for the people, I don't really have any interest on chewing anything up (at least not right now). Here I am, asleep and comfortable:

So after spending a little while sleeping on my bed, as you saw in the picture, I woke up and got a little uncomfortable with my surroundings. I paced back and forth for a while, and eventually settled down and laid on the floor, but hanging out down there away from my crate was bothering me. Fortunately, Angela visited around noon and let me go spend the rest of the day in the crate after we went on our walk together. I might try the basement again sometime, but for now I think I just want to spend an hour or two at a time there.
